Job at Lismore Primary School

Lismore Primary School (13 Pupils) needs a reliable and caring person to undertake a range of duties within the school including the preparation and service of healthy school meals, the maintenance of a high standard of kitchen hygiene and the general cleaning of the school.

The main focus of the catering is the preparation and service of healthy meals to support the whole school approach to healthy living. There is a basic administration element including ordering, records and budget control. The focus of cleaning is to ensure that children enjoy a clean, healthy and safe environment. Keyholding, security of the premises and its contents, lighting, heating, porterage and handyperson duties are also involved. Candidates will be required to undertake training on an ongoing basis.

The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order as amended will apply and the post is subject to disclosure from the Scottish Criminal Records Office.

Hours of Duty: Monday to Friday, 27 Hours per week term time. ( 41 weeks per year).
