Lismore School says Goodbye

Lismore Primary School is losing two members of staff – Penny Derham, the Secretary for 3 years and Dawn Sanderson the Classroom Assistant for one. It was with great sadness that Head Teacher, Freda MacGregor, introduced the presentations saying that both had been outstanding in their posts and would be sorely missed by staff and pupils alike. The children made farewell booklets in which they recorded their good wishes in stories, poems and drawings and, in thanking them, Penny and Dawn said they would treasure their memories and the booklets. Penny is moving on to be The Manager of Ardnamurchin High School Residence and Dawn is returning with her family to her native Newcastle.
