A landrover belonging to visitors to Port Ramsay had to be hauled form the mud after they thought it was a good idea to drive straight across the seabed at low tide. However despite the best effors of Duncan Black, Duncan Livingstone, Johnny MacFadyen and assembled helpers it was not until Jim MacCormick and his big tractor appeared that it started to move.
