Lismore Public Hall AGM

At the recent Lismore Public Hall AGM, islanders were shown a range of possible plans produced by the feasibility study the committee commissioned to look into the best way to improve the existing hall. The study, which will be completed in May, is seeking input from the various hall user groups so the best possible design, meeting the most needs, will result.  The committee would also like to hear from anyone with design and fund raising ideas.

Chair Julian Wormleighton thanked office bearers Ann Sanderson and Anne Livingstone, the former resigning as  Treasurer after 9 years and the latter as Secretary after nearly 3. They had both done invaluable work he said. Also resigning was Penny Derham who regretted that her commitments will make meetings impossible.

Four new members were elected unopposed: Jennifer Allan, Duncan Brooks, Hubert Sadhana and Gilly Dixon-Spain. Denise Willis was elected Secretary and Hubert Sadhana  Treasurer.
