Summer Exhibition

This years combined art and photography show gave locals and visitors another taste of the work these two groups had been doing through the year and it was also a chance for the children to show case their work.

It is always good to see the hall brightened up especially, as was often the case this Summer, when you were escaping from yet another drenching.

The work was varied, interesting and often uplifting and below is a taste of what was involved in the putting together of what has become a looked forward to annual event. Both groups worked hard  preparing and manning the show and the photographers were also offering their 2006 calendar for sale.

The art group meet on a Tuesday afternoon in the hall and the photographers on a Friday in their homes. Both welcome new members.
