18 December 2003

It was a treat to see all the children performing in their annual Christmas Concert with action songs, poems, choral singing, playing and singing in small groups, and violin and piano solos. |

Before Iris served a delicious tea we all joined in the communal carol singing and the collection raised £60 for The Leprosy Mission. |

Father Christmas appeared later at the party for the younger children and the older ones had a disco in the hall run by The Three D’s, two of whom Diarmid Wilson and Duncan MacLean are from Lismore. |

Mary MacDougall led carol singers round Lismore brightening up the dark evenings of the December 21st and 22nd, trudging through mud and rain and raising £135 for Cancer research and the York Hill Hospital.
