Music and Dance festival

April 2004

All the Lismore Primary children took part in the Highlands and Islands Music and Dance Festival. The recorder group (primary 5-7) came third in their very large class with the Star of the County Down, the choir of primary 2-7 sang The Dark Island and The Bare Necessities from the Jungle book, and every child bar one danced in one of the two country dancing teams trained by Anne Livingstone.  These were not judged but given excellent reports, the adjudicator praising them all and of the very young ones saying she had been moved to tears.
