Birthday Party

Almost the entire island joined the MacGillvary family to celebrated the 60th birthday of the ever youthful Archie - aka Skinny – when his partner Mandy threw a  “surprise” party in the hall.

Lachlan MacDonald, who has known him all his days, recalled the highlights of Archie's interesting life and spoke for everyone when he wished him continuing health and happiness. 

Mandy and helpers had prepared an excellent spread and afterwards everyone danced to the music of the Ross MacPherson Band. Archie thanked Mandy and all who had made the evening so memorable and said he was quite delighted and overwhelmed by all the gifts and wishes.
