A day long ‘Community Big Draw’ in Lismore hall was well attended by islanders of all ages.

Taking as their theme - 'things that happen in our hall' – they painted parties, sports, ceilidhs and many other local activities. Sarah Campbell and Caroline Willis, who run the Lismore After School Arts and Crafts Class, organised the day after the hall committee suggested it as a way of brightening up the space.

  Roger and Gilly Dixon-Spain donated some A1 white boards and the artists the boards undertook to tell some day to day stories in pictures.

While they worked seriously and had fun the day long  others joined at lunch time for sandwiches, tea and juice and to see how the work was going.
