Lismore Show – 4th July 2015

Here is a selection of photos at the Lismore Show held on 4th July 2015. The main results are below the photos.

Main results and trophy winners

Adult Baking

Kiki Maccoll and Rosemary MacCormick tied equally on most points but Kiki won the trophy as she won most firsts. Kiki was awarded the cup for adult baking.

Rosemary MacCormick won the dumpling plate for 1st placed dumpling.

Marie Carmichael got the best in show baking cup for her shortbread.

Junior Baking

Ealasaid Maclean won the cup for most points in junior baking.

Rachael MacCormick had the best junior baking exhibit with her cupcakes (no cup for this section).

Junior Handicrafts

Ealasaid Maclean won the cup for most points in junior handicrafts.

Lewis Walker won the cup for the best exhibit in junior handicrafts for his vegetable animal.

Adult Handicrafts

Kiki MacColl won the silver salva for best exhibit in the adult handicrafts for her decorated wellie.

Jam and Chutney

Kara Willis had the best exhibit with her lemon curd (no cup for this section).


First placed bogie went to Donald MacCormick (no cup in this section).


Duncan Ferguson won best in exhibit for his 3 long carrots (no cup in this section).

Flowers and Displays

Memory MacDonald won the floral trophy for her Scotland in the box best exhibit.

Arts and Painting

Rose Howard won the art cup for her best exhibit, charcoal drawing of a dog.


Gilly Dixon-Spain won the photography trophy for her best exhibit a reflections photograph of her hens.

I would also like to mention Lismore’s oldest resident Marjorie MacDonald at 94 entered 3 classes and came away with a first prize for her mixed roses and a second prize for her lemon curd.

Hopefully next year will be bigger and better with even more entries.
