Farewell to Tamsin on 3rd October 2013

The Primary School bade a sad farewell to Tamsin McVean on Thursday 3rd October – her last day in school. Tamsin has worked in the Pre Five Unit for the past nine years and most of the current children have been in her care at some point. We are very grateful to Tamsin for her work with the youngest pupils and everyone is going to miss her. The children held a Tea Party for Tamsin where they were joined by staff and parents. Everyone sat around a beautifully laid table with cups of tea and cakes galore. The centrepiece was a cake decorated with Tamsin's signature Lizzy Ladybird. The children presented Tamsin with a card that they had made and with a gift from the parents and staff. Tamsin gave the Pre Fives a beautiful teapot to use at snack time when they all sit around the table together. At the end of the morning the whole school sang the Pre Fives' "Goodbye Song" to Tamsin which was a fitting end to the party. We wish Tamsin every happiness and success in the future and look forward to her visiting us at school.
