Guild Coffee Day on 8th August 2013

Lismore Guild held its annual Coffee Day in the Hall on Thursday 8th August, from 10.30am to 4.00pm. Fairtrade tea and coffee were on offer, as well as the usual -excellent home baking supplied by Guild members. One gentleman said that the girdle scones were the best he had ever tasted!

The Guild shared the hall with the Art and Photography Group whose vibrant and talented exhibition added to the enjoyment of the day. The fine weather attracted plenty of visitors to the event, and the refreshments provided were particularly welcome to those who had come to walk or cycle.

A side-table of bric-a brac was well patronised, raising the sum of 51 and the sale of teas and coffees raised 408 for Church funds. The Guild wishes to thank all those who helped to make this a successful event.
