Festival of museums 18th to 20th May 2012

Friday 18 to Sunday 20 May was a Festival of Museums weekend in Scotland with exciting events nationwide including two organised by Lorraine King at Ionad Naomh Moluag, Lismore's heritage centre. Saturday was a night at the museum, a special event for children to explore the centre by torchlight, wrap themselves up in blankets, listen to spooky stories read by Barbara McDougall and eat snacks and drink hot chocolate provided by Beth Campbell. Sunday was a knit and natter session in the café. 18 people came along for some knitting, nattering, eating, drinking, music, singing and dancing. Food was provided by Beth, and Mairi Campbell and friends led the impromptu entertainment.
