Hallowe'en party on 29th October 2011

Saturday October 29th saw Lismore Hall transferred into a scary, spooky wonderland for the annual Hallowe'en party run by Lismore Primary School Parent Council. We had witches, ghouls, scary clowns, a kissing cowboy, a police officer, laydees, oor wullie, pirates, a turtle, Batman, Dracula, Bart Simpson and many many more in fantastic fancy dress out to frighten and frolic at our much-enjoyed party.

The children enjoyed making spooky spiders from marshmallows, decorating jam jar lanterns for going guising with and dooking for apples. We had best costume competitions judged excellently by Eva and Sebastian our brave judges. The winners were

Pre 5 – Evie – scary witch
Primary – Lewis – Dracula
Teenager – Jenny Iris – very scary witch
Adult – Lorraine – Lady Gaga.

We had tea and spooky foods and juice provided by the Parent Council and the children enjoyed fun games with a ghastly theme! The children also attended Dr Katy's "not so well surgery" where they got to touch and feel squidgy body parts with mad Dr Katy! A great time was had by all – 22 children, all in fancy dress and 30 adults all dressed up for the occasion making it a fun filled ghastly night out!

The Parent Council would like to thank Eva and Sebastian for taking on a near impossible task and to everyone who helped us with the party.
