School play and presentation

As a farewell to the school year, Lismore primary pupils performed their award winning play The Fisherman's Wife to a large appreciative audience in the school. It was clear from the amusing and polished performance why the children had won two cups at the Lorn drama festival earlier in the year and head teacher Catherine Davies took the opportunity to present them to the cast. She also presented end of year certificates to all the children and congratulated them on their year's work. She said it was hard to believe that her first year in charge of Lismore Primary School was over and invited everyone to support the school by attending the Family Fun Ceilidh which the Parent Council will be running on 30 July from 7-11pm.
