Seniors Christmas tea

The islandís seniors were invited to what has become their annual Christmas Tea in the hall hosted by the Guild. A good number attended and were most appreciative of the effort the Guild members had made to entertain and offer a fine spread.

Poppy Appeal

The island collected £540.14 for the Poppy Scotland appeal, double what was collected last year helped largely by the £200 Beth Campbell collected at the cafť Poppy Lunch.

Return of the Lismore heads

The "Lismore Heads" made by the Lismore schoolchildren last year, and exhibited at the Kelvingrove Museum, have now returned to Lismore and can be viewed at the museum until we close for the winter in November.

Lismore artists

Lismore artists will reconvene Tuesday 31st August at 1.30 p.m. in Lismore Public Hall. New members very welcome! No experience required.

Classes with Alan Anderson will probably start late September. We donít have a date for this yet, but if you are interested please let us know.
