Health meeting

Representatives of the Argyll and Bute Community Health Partnership were on the island again to talk about the package of measures currently being developed in dialogue with islanders which they hope will  deliver safe, sustainable and effective healthcare. The meeting was very well attended with representatives of the Community Health Partnership, the Port Appin medical team, Councillor Elaine Robertson and many islanders. Fruitful discussion followed General Manager Derek Leslie’s introduction of his team and his outline of where the proposals were at this stage, and he said he hoped that they would be able to meet the islanders’ aspirations. Comments on the proposed plans which are available in the shop or by clicking here should be submitted  before the next meeting  to Argyll and Bute Community Health Partnership HQ, Aros, Blarbuie Road, Lochgilphead, PA31 8LB
