Story teller visits

Bea Ferguson was on the island recently to do two storytelling sessions one to the school children and in the afternoon to an appreciative adult audience in the library of the Museum. Argyll and Bute libraries organised the event and she was accompanied by Dorothy McLenna from Dunoon with Barbara McDougall organising the event on the island. Bea started at the school with the pre 5s who were greatly enthralled by her ability to paint a whole picture in story form as were the primary children who were treated to more mystery and ghostly tales. In the afternoon she told stories she had picked up all over Britain  in her varied career as an actress,  BBC producer and librarian.
