Highlands and Islands Dance Festival 2009 - the children will be dancing The Cumberland Reel at the festival on 30th April in Oban.

OLI Orienteering Competition at Dunstaffnage Castle on Wed 6th May. P4-P7 entered last year and did quite well - we are hoping for a good result this year.
  Results - Lismore finished 8th out of the 12 schools who took part in what must have been one of the wettest days this year - well done to all the children who took part - they all did really well despite the weather! Full results can be found at
Joy Dunlop the Development officer for An Comunn Gaidhealach will be visiting the school several times over the next few weeks. Joy will be assisting us with our preparations for the Oban Mod this year which is on Sat 6th June at Oban High School. The children are really excited about performing this year and hope they can live up to their cup winning Action Song last year!
A visit to Lismore Museum and Heritage Centre will be happening on Tues 12th May where the children will have an interactive tour of the Lismore Faces Exhibition and be shown the latest collection of books in the Library.

On the afternoon of the 12th May the P4-P7 children will be going to Strath of Appin school to participate in a workshop given by Scottish Opera. Then along with the Co-op schools' children they will be performing in a Scottish Opera performance on Monday 18th May in Appin Hall at 2pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend this.

We have Cycling Proficiency training and testing at present with the P6-P7 children.
