Morvern Historical Society visit

Members of the Morvern Historical Society visited Lismore recently on one of the many fine summer days we have enjoyed this year. Two members of the Comann Eachraidh, Stuart Ross and John Livingstone, met them at the ferry with the community bus and drove them to the church where Bob Hay gave what was by all accounts a very interesting talk on some of the more remarkable stones.  After lunch at the café they were free to explore the museum and the reconstructed cottar’s cottage and meet other members of the Historical society before a bus tour round the island.
