10 May 2008

“For Argyll”  is an information and communications service  operated by Radio Fyneside CIC. It’s the brain child of Managing Director Lynda Henderson and Internet Services Director Charles Dixon-Spain and it aims to create an online multimedia service which will link the many disparate Argyll communities with contributions from within them.

The first stage of this project – Out there for Argyll  - is funded by the Scottish Community Foundation and will, over the initial two year period, involve twelve Argyll communities who will using blogging, messaging, podcasts and video sharing to talk to each other and the world.

Several training days have already been held around Argyll,  two in the Museum Library on Lismore with visitors from Ardfern and Furnace.
