Lismore Primary Best School

The children of Lismore Primary School recently enjoyed a fun filled and educational trip to the ABREEF environmental education fair at the Corran Halls where they learnt a great deal about marine science as well as how to make leaf prints and a bird feeder out of a pine cone, fat and seeds.
And they took away a lot of prizes winning "guess the age of the tree" and "guess the leaf" as well as first and second prize in the under 16 photography competition all of which gave them the title of "
Best School ".

Quite a feat for 7 students when around 400 primary and secondary children attended the fair.

Prizes included a mini greenhouse and seeds, a book on birds, a carved wooden squirrel and a trip for two with Sealife Adventures to visit whirlpools and whales.
