Sports' Day                        26 June 2007

The weather stayed fine and everyone had a great time.

The young ones were not always entirely sure what the point was.....

But with a bit of help      got there

and there was time to just watch

School Fete                         30 June 2007

Again the weather stayed fine enough for the inside and the out to be used....

and, as it was quite a crush, that was a relief. The Tombola and the raffle were great attractions and the raffle prizes, collected and assembled by Katy Crossant were of a very high standard. But all the parents and Board members worked hard and managed to raise well over 600 for the school fund.

Moving On.

The school says good bye to 4 students this year as they head for Oban high School. We wish great good luck to John Carmichael, Flora MacLean, Christopher Willis, and Eilidh Willis.

New Head Teacher

The new Head Teacher, Jennifer Lang, takes up her appointment on 13 August. We congratulate her and welcome her into the community. She comes from Glasgow via Manhatten so is familiar with island life (minus a bridge or two). She was appointed from a strong short list and is greatly looking forward to being a teaching head. At this point the school has 11 pupils for the new term.
