Wedding Dance

28 October 2006

Archie and Ina MacColl invited all islanders to a dance in the hall to celebrate the marriage of their youngest son Graeme to Lindsay (nee Monaghan) who were married in Tiree in May. Sadly for Graeme neither of his two brothers was at the wedding as David was ill and it coincided with the arrival of the latest grandchild, Archie, who was born to George and Ruth in New Zealand.

But they all made it to the Lismore celebration as did many far flung members of the MacColl family. The lively music from the duo of Sileas Sinclair and Deidre MacDonald plus the MacColl hospitality made the evening a great success despite a power cut, one of many at that time, threatening to disrupt proceedings.
