My Special Place

Beauty spreads out across the land
Mountain peaks just visible
The beaches are pebble not sand
Here no one can be miserable
From the cliff tops you can see the dolphins
The otters  and seals too
from the sea came its beginnings
You can hear the lambs that are new
Cut off from the mainland by the sea
The only way  reach it is by boat
The waves are as choppy as can be
You wonder how you stay afloat
And you always want to stay a little bit longer
That's the Isle of Lismore
