INSECTS
Lepidoptera (Butterflies and Moths) is the only insect group which has
been studied or recorded in any depth, mainly by local enthusiasts.
Odonata (Damselflies and Dragonflies) is another group for which a few records are available.
In June 2001, however, a group of prominent entomologists visited the island for a couple of days and we await the outcome of their endeavours.
